I'm calling this my IP build. Most of the parts were sourced from Blue Fins in Dundalk (!).

Black Dog Upper, Blue Fins Spikes Lower, Geissele SSA Trigger, Nikon M223, Magpul Furniture.

Think I will put up a family pic in a bit. I have a nice variety now.

My Stag lefty is the blacksheep. But I still love the inquisitive looks at the range. Something ain't right about that rifle..... Unconventional, but very very accurate. Piston hits a bit hard. May get an H2 and see if that helps.

Well, I am done. Obtained my very last rifle, one that I have wanted for some time. The safe is now STUFFED beyond the "10"capacity. ;)

Decided I wanted a 20 inch barrel, in an A2 configuration. At first I wanted to go all retro, and get a classic A2 upper, (without the shell deflector), Vietnam era furniture, etc.

Then I came to the realization, that I am left handed, and I NEED the shell deflector. Then I said, screw it, I will go for the "look"not for the actual authentic piece. So here it is.

This is a Del-Ton A2 Custom upper, govt profiled barrel, mounted to my Spikes pre-2013 lower, that I have had configured with an A2 stock. It has a 45 degree ambi safety, because it works well for us southpaws. I put in the 20 round GI mag just to sway it more to retro. If it ever stops raining, I will take it to AGC and run it.

    I like it!!
