    He could veto it on the basis that it didn't do what he wanted and he was looking for a good bill with proper mental health screening and better background checks. That would make him look Presidential in the eyes of many and not have the albatross of gun control hanging over his head on the national level.

    Then again, flying monkeys could circle the State House looking for a place to perch.

    -Ultimately, we're badly outnumbered about 3-1 and your vote counts the same as the guy who has never voted again anyone with a little "D" next to their name.

    We need fewer than 1000 votes to crush a couple of the incumbents, and with 20,000 we could be electing conservative D's in the primaries. Those numbers are easily within reach if we dedicate ourselves to registering voters before 2014.
