Does a sub2K qualify as a long gun and thus allowable to carry without CCW?
I think only if you open carry it. If you carry it around in the backpack it is concealed

Step 1. Find backpack you like
Step 2. Use laptop portion compartment for gun.
Step 3. Enjoy the most comfortable way of carrying your gun.
I live in a free state and this is the way I carry. Carrying a gun is not comfortable...ever.

Yep! The only time my PM9 gets into my pants is in a movie theater or other places where it would be odd to carry a backpack. After months of IWB I decided I never wanted to carry like that again. It just sucks; even with the small guns. I'd rather have a Smith 4513 in a backpack than a PM9 digging at me all day.Agree. It is quite a pain to carry all the time. I get a chuckle when i hear all the "I would carry a 1911 and x# of spare magazines, Glock sucks, plastic is for ..." schpiel. Great for a few hours, 18 hours a day will make you love the Tupperware right quick.
Yes, unloaded if concealed in a backpack or other case. Loaded Open carry is legal in "most" of MD although I would not suggest it.Does a sub2K qualify as a long gun and thus allowable to carry without CCW?
Somewhat correct, see above.I think only if you open carry it. If you carry it around in the backpack it is concealed
In MD sadly you may go to the clink for all kinds of perfectly legal practices related to firearms.in Maryland i would think not. Straight to the klink if you got caught.
NiceMy sub2k rig for now.
Fred, I would make you ... but only because I've seen so many ads for this bag and variants over the years.
