There are so many of these figures out there. Gun control wouldn't be an issue if those numbers were reversed. Remember, our politicians RARELY look at the numbers, and when they do, they go the opposite direction. If we only had 200-300 illegal immigrants crossing our borders each year, there would be 5000 border patrolman, but since there's over 10,000, there's only a few hundred border patrolman.

Those numbers in the chart are actually the State of Illinois vs. Houston. In 2013 for example, Chicago had 503 homicides (http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304591604579293012913171726).

^^THIS. Tell us something we don't know. However, without stating the sources of your data, it doesn't hold much weight. We all KNOW what the evidence suggests, but these kinds of unreferenced charts are really no different than what the liberals use to advance their causes.

Maryland may be in the dump concerning gun laws, but nationally progress is being made and many of the worst battles have been won by dealing with the facts and hard data, not the questionable junk the liberals use IMHO.

Thanks. I'm as conservative as they come, but putting forth fabricated and misleading statistics is a province of the left. It's not something we should aspire to.
