Hey fellas, getting back into it...just wondering if we've got any other surf fishing fans in here?

Acquired a 9' rod for casting lures and a 12' rod for bait/cut bait and have series 4000/5000 reels on their way to me...would love to get out there sometime with some other people...

Yeah I'm an OBX beach fisher. Cut my teeth on Assateague though in my younger years. Wish I could spend more time on the beach, but life gets in the way.

DE Seashore state park is a good place to go. Can camp and walk to the inlet or fish the surf. Nice facilities too. I usually go in August with a bunch of friends.

Do a little bit in OC each year, usually a few small sharks and whiting. Love sitting in the beach with a rod though, wish I could go more.
