I've had eForm 1 approvals go through on Sundays pre-COVID.
I've always gotten my F 4 approval emails on Sunday evenings.

Y’all get emails on form 4’s ?
I’ve never gotten an email saying I’ve been approved. Just a dealer call to come pick my can up.
Apologies for highjacking the thread but my search did not yield much discussions on this point: Any downsides to going form 1 on a product like the JK Armament modular solvent traps. I am waiting on a Form 4 for a rugged obsidian but was thinking of the JK/Form 1 route for my AR.
If it were me, I would run like hell from those solvent traps, especially if you have a F4 in progress. Wait for your can to be approved.

The main issue isn't with the process, it's the actual assembled product. For a similar cost to a factory built can with modern baffles, engineered cross jetting, titanium, inconel and stellite parts, and things like welded cores and tubeless designs, you gat to build a can with 90's tech. Simple cone baffles, aluminum parts, or really heavy steel, usually with mediocre performance given the size/weight. For the price I can't think of any F1 kits that have ever tested or spec'ed anywhere near something of similar cost like a YHM Resonator or Turbo.
Just talked to a guy at a gun store that bought one off of Wish for like $60...it was red LOL. Drilled a hole in the end and started shooting, said it was great, on par with commercial suppressors. No guarantee how long it will last, etc, but for the price it's prob worth a shot.Apologies for highjacking the thread but my search did not yield much discussions on this point: Any downsides to going form 1 on a product like the JK Armament modular solvent traps.
