any plugins for the BB that will allow for a summary post to be made, like a pinned post inside a thread?

reason: really tired of reading through 30 page threads to get the jist of a topic or event thats happened.

it has 1925+ posts... 49 pages long.. i would love to know whats happening with that case but im not going to read it from end to end.
