I have a S&W M&P 10-22 and love it. It has handled every ammo brand/velocity I have thrown at it.

That may very well be my next 22. Even at the not so great 10 cents a round 22lr costs everywhere, it's still way cheaper to shoot than any other firearm I own. Since I really like the BOOM though, I think on a day I shoot 22s, before I'm packed up I'll blast a small box of 12 gauge slugs and still be $$$ ahead. ;)

thanks for the link. his prices are very good... wish wasn't so far but might be worth the trip...

The two round trips for me is a deal breaker. Such F'n nonsense Maryland throws in to buy a rimfire handgun.. but you can walk out with a large caliber rifle..

OP, if you're in love with the 1911, the 22/45 is supposed to be very similar to that layout

    He already bought one ;)

    True story. :)
Aside from grip angle, the other advertised similarities are kinda far fetched IMO...but I did already get one. Waiting on a cheap reflex sight for it right now. Best of all it does, as I had hoped from post number 1, shoot anything that I have for it, ammo-wise.
