Stupid question

I am looking for a new shotgun for deer season. I sold my last one and I have regretted it ever since. Question is... Can I get a shotgun for trap/deer or do I need to get a combo gun. (gun with two barrels)? Any ideas on one I should look at. Not trying to break bank.

Walmart sells Mossberg 500A around $200-300, you get the combo pack, a slug barrel, and a barrel with differing chokes you can swap out.

A good shotgun to get reintroduced

try to find a deal on a rem 870(i have one in classfieds) or 1187. used barrels are easy To find .with screw in chokes you can shoot shot & slugs till you find the barrels you want.

Frederick Walmart has Mossberg 500 for $227.00 last weekend with 28" barrell. Slug barrell is probably about $60.00.
