I just spoke with a few "Industry Partners" today. It seems that some distributors will not ship SR22's with threaded barrels to Maryland.

Has anyone heard about this? It's news to me.

    Thanks! :)

Threaded barrels were in an early version of SB281. But were removed from the final bill.

Your dealer should be able to call the distributor and explain that to them.

I get them on a regular basis on numerous makes of guns; threaded barrels are fine.

Not a SR22, but just in...

There's one at Christian Soldier. Bring your own lube and something to bite down on. His prices are insane.

He has two Range Officers that have been in the case over a month. Every other shop can't keep one on the shelf. It might be the price ($1100).

I picked up a threaded SR22 the other week, no problems. Transferred through Eakle Firearms, great guy to deal with, was my first MD regulated purchase and wouldn't hesitate to use him again for another.

I picked up an SR22 from Worth-A-Shot a while back that has a dual-design barrel with two adapters and the wrench to swap them. One adapter creates the stock flush-barrel look, and the other is the threaded extension adapter for a suppressor.
