And F-it, couple beers, credit card was handy, and a Domino is on it's way from Blade HQ. Have to stop clicking on these knife deal threads.

Thanks for the tip. I just ordered three of them this morning; one for me, and one for each of my sons for Christmas. We've been fans of the cheaper Kershaw flippers, but with that deal it's time to step up to a nicer knife.

Odd the Southards are being discontinued, they have a really loyal fanbase on Bladeforums, and seem to be popular despite the usually high price. I think at sub $200 they are going to go faster than anything else on the list. Would love one, but wanted the Domino more. Have handled both, the Domino is a near perfect small EDC, really close to the Manix2/Native handle and blade shape, but more cutting edge to handle ratio, a bit more rounded and slimmer while retining the useful forward choil. The little blade flies open on bearings with a flipper, and a good Ti framelock with cool hidden stop pin, in CTS-XHP, supposedly performs like a full stainless CPM D2, which should be good. The Southard has an epic blade shape somewhere between a modified sheepsfoot and a drop point with a wicked hollow grind edge, similar flipper /bearing pivot and hidden stop pin to the Domino, but a little larger, more slender, and lacks the forward choil. It is in CTS 202P, one of the best blade steels available for a mid sized folder. Not sure if I'll go for this one, have other blades higher on the list, but might if it hasn't sold out before my fun budget can recuperate
