I purchase a stripped Spike's Tactical lower, assembled it and the f-ing thing won't match to any upper. The takedown pins do not align. I have assembled numerous lowers in the past without having issues with the fit. I guess Spike's QC control has gone to hell.

My question is, now what??? Do I return this to a local dealer or contact Spikes. Any help is appreciated.

I would call Spike's first and go from there.

You tried other uppers, I'm assuming.

Call spikes. They can replace the Lower, but you'll have to do the whole 7 day wait again if the serial # is different.

It's a somewhat common problem with many lowers.

Brownells has completed Colt Lowers for $250.00 if you want something other than spikes.
