We used to allow backorders...but you don't have a clue how many headaches that causes.

Customers don't pay attention to stock statuses.

Customers complain about orders taking months (in this case, these BCG's took 4 months...would you have waited that long without getting upset without an ETA?)

Customers call every week checking on status of said backorders.

Customers call and modify orders every week.
