If only one spice, this is my go to....
I use it on a daily basis and always keep a few bottles in reserve. I used to only find it in an Italian pork store in Jersey.
But I have been buying it on amazon
Great for pre seasoning meats, chicken and fish
And also great for adding to already cook food.

    OP Here...
THIS ^^post^^ is the type of idea I was looking to see posted. The standard spice rack stuff is already in most kitchens.
I will mention Vegeta again. Think of a good powdered vegetable bullion with fine pieces of root vegetables mixed in. The Croatian stuff is truly under utilized in Murica.

This is my go to. It’s awesome on rice, tuna and chicken.

If you prep, you can never have too much salt.
Yup, try and find Kosher salt in the market today - All Out.
The other thing to have is Pink Salt, or Prague #1 (not Himalayian) to CURE meat with. Bacon is cured with this.
1 teaspoon cures 5 pounds of meat.
Or even Prague #2 which is used for very long cures, like 6 months or so. Hams are cured with this.
That idiot who went into Alaska shot a moose and tried to smoke it didn't know he needed to used curing salt- so he died.
    (Into the Wild).

Weber N'Orleans Cajun. I literally put it on everything its surprisingly good for a mass market product.

If this quarantine goes on much longer I am going to make my own creole and Cajun mixes.

All the common herbs and spices in the pantry, and a bunch of uncommon ones. Several different types of curry. Lots of dried herbs yet from last year, with new plants started.

Several batches of dried hot peppers. New seedlings going.

Love Franks, and have plenty of that, including the dry seasoning powder.

Just got this cheddar cheese powder off Amazon for the SHTF stocking up on stuff. So versatile, a little sprinkle is great on rice, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, popcorn, and whatever else you like with cheese. Could do Mac n cheese I’m sure too, or make some Doritos type snacks if needed.

Another thought to mention. For long term, stock some spice seeds.

Spice mixes are fine, but I would prefer to have individual spices and recipes for mixes.

I didn't like it that much. It was definitely worth the price though.

Yup - freebies from a couple of orders. I throw it on stuff once in a while just to mix things up.
