About 8:00AM ish a State Police escort of 6 or 7 with lights and sirens escorting a hearse heading west bound on route 304. Could be someone from Delaware or from the Dover AFB. Anyone else see any thing?

On a serious response, I live very close to Rt.304 and have seen many of these processions. This is pure speculation (what would the interwebz be without that!), but it was probably another soldier returning home via commercial airline via Baltimore or DC. I was told a couple of years ago that Kalitta Air handles most transfers but some still go by commercial airlines to expedite the travel home for our heros.

If that is the case, there have been too many traveling that road.

I believe that's what it was. Have you seen Murph: the Protector? He got a full hero's welcome back to New York with police and firemen on all the overpasses on the way to New York.

I've seen hearses before with escorts, one maybe two not 6 or 7 and not with lights and sirens. This was different.
