failure to fire , showing light strike marks with some ammo . i replaced all the soft parts , ie; all the springs, striker bushing . the striker looks ok , it protrudes pretty far by hand . i'm thinking the barrel is worn ? i've shot at least a thousand rounds thru it and i bought it used , no way of knowing a true round count . sorry for the late reply , i was in bed when you replied .What is the nature of problem/ suspected problem ?

yes , it was reliable until the past few weeks , family and i were using it to practice for qualifiying . it really dosen't like some turkish ammo i picked up , ftf around 40% , blazer is at 5 to 10% . the turkish stuff is shorter cased , 1 to 1.5 thousandths , which leeds me to belive the barrel is worn .Huh , that's a humdinger , as you seem to have already done the usual suspects .
Did the gun previously function reliable , and then stop ? Or been this way the whole time ? Are the misfires. sometimes ., or all the time ?
thanks , i'll look at thatIt would take 10's of K rounds , if not 100k to wear a bbl that much .
If it worked , then suddenly developed problems , more likely an Extractor issue.
As to possibly weak hits, presumably scrubbed the channel ? But more likely extractor isn't holding the case firmly against the breech face .
