What model S&W 22 are these mags for? They are 12 round. I’ve had them for quite some time sitting in my box of miscellaneous parts. The bottom of the mags stamped with S&W. They don’t fit my M&P 22.

Thanks, I knew I’d get an answer here. I’ve had them for years. IIRC, they were in a box of gun parts that my father had. I have a number of 22’s but not that model.

A model 41 is a premium pistol...you might check the going rate for those mags. You might be able to get some coin for them. The pistols themselves are quite expensive and collectible...as well as eminently shootable and accurate. The mags may be as well.

I was just taking a look on GB. The mags look to be going around $70.00.
The model 41 pistols were over $1200.00:shocked:
I suppose if I were to sell them, I’d have to go over the line to PA to transfer. If I sell them to an out of state buyer, I guess I could ship them from MD.

They also fit the 422, 622, and 2206.
They came in both 10 and 12 rounds.
Nice thing is that the barrel is already threaded, just need a $30 adapter for it.
These shoot better than most .22 pistols I’ve tried.
I had an M&P compact .22 and sold it, these are much better.

Kind of surprising that S&W doesn’t make factory mags for sale for these anymore. They still make the Model 41.

I own and shoot four Model 41’s (all 5.5” bbl models) and just ordered another ten mags for around $25 each, all in (only because I use UPC’s, SKU’s or MPN’s to shop around on Gun.Deals.com and WikiArms.com, etc.) and,

… the *body length* of the mag in OP does not quite match up with the score of 10-rd Model 41 mags I have on hand or just ordered (photo of those attached)

On the other hand, it appears the “business end” of the mags may be the same?

I just noticed that what I ordered are now referred to as “classic” and “replacement” AND I don’t know when they also started being described as also fitting the 422, 622 etc. so, the option for a 12 rd version makes sense.

Also, I confirmed, there is no plastic anywhere in the ones I’ll have in hand Friday …

The only target pistol I’d trade one of my 41’s toward’d be either a Pardini or Benelli (was considering a Hammerli but that changed after I did some Ransom resting of the 41’s …)

Also, fwiw, it appears from bandwidth on the precision pistol forums the late (and particularly, current) production 41 pistols are rank with all sorts of issues indicating low or no QC.

There are 60’s and 70’s models popping up daily as old Bullseye shooters etc. more, daily. Those are all I’d buy, anyway.

Wouldn’t surprise me if this was a situation where even the now-out-of-production 422’s and 622’s would be a better bet than a current production 41 pistol … at least from a standpoint of feed and functioning …

Are you speaking about firearms or magazines here? The 422, 622, and 2206 are no longer made and haven’t been since the 90’s. As for the mags, I’ll look into that, I’ve never seen them that cheap and very few places seem to even carry them anymore.
The mags have always been interchangeable between the 41, 422/622 series, they are identical. Would love to have a few more of the 12 rounders but those seem to be pretty rare.

IIRC, you'd need to go out of state to even offer them for sale.
