Having Fun Yet?
Looking for a very small bench air compressor with enough volume and PSI to replace air cans.
I'd recommend one of the compressors from Harbor Freight, especially for occasional use. I have one in the garage and one for the basement shop.
They are priced so it doesn't hurt the bank to buy a tad larger then you think you need.
And...They have a sale going on right now.

Could you use one of those 12 volt compressors they sell to keep in your car? I've got one and it's about the size of a smoke detector.
Maybe two smoke detectors.
This is a great little compressor. I have used mine for about 10 years now without any problems running finish nail and staple guns, air chucks, blower, and a cup type paint sprayer.I just bought a 3.5 gal pancake tank compressor from Home Depot - this one

I have been very happy with it. It is a little loud, but the tank refills pretty quickly. I have a pistol grip type blowgun, with a football needle inserted in the tip and use it at around 40 PSI output. Got it on sale for $79 from the Laurel store.
