SKS rear sight spring?

Just got around to unboxing my SKS and Type 53 (took the bar over the last two days). The type 53 is in better shape than expected, just a little work should get her up and shooting. Now, I did the first run of de-cosmoing the SKS. Some numbers match, some don't, paid the handpick and think it's pretty good.

Now, my question. The rear sight just flops around, and it looks like the spring is missing. Is that common for these guns, and should I shoot SOG an email and try to get them to send me one? Or, should I just order one online and not worry about it.

If ir happy with it, then email and request the parts. If your not happy, request another gun. The prongs aren't that hard to replace if I remember correctly and are cheap.

Just the amount of cosmo on these things has me leaning towards just getting the spring. I'm not sure if mine is average condition or not, so I have no idea if I would want to get a replacement or not.
