I have a 2022 9mm with the Nitron finished slide but am looking to change it out for a stainless slide but I can't find any place that sells them.

I'm pretty sure the new slide has to be fitted. My P238 slide was Nitron finished but I polished it off mostly. The top is still black but the sides are shiny stainless.

How did you go about polishing and could you supply a picture of yours for reference?

Just send your slide out and get it coated...It will be alot cheaper in the end and you can make it what ever color you want..

Maybe one of our IP's does it..Try Corsica Coatings....If not maybe they could point you in the right direction...Google gun coatings as well...There are a bunch of them out there..

Not a photo but a scan. This is after two years of carrying and my grandkids shooting and me shooting it. If you're not experienced in polishing I won't advise it. Get someone else that knows how to do it.
