Yes, I have a Romeo 1 on my one p226 and a RMR on the other.. The Romeo is fine, has a larger viewing window and works but for whatever reason I like the RMR a little better. The Romeo is absolutely the cheaper route. I’ve had my RMR setup for over a year and it works. I just got the Romeo setup in January and have limited range time with, so my opinion may change..

Actually, considering selling my current 226 to fund one with the Romeo sight.
    Am I crazy...?

Yes - your crazy. Thats too pretty to give up for one. If you want a Romeo on, just buy one of the x-change RX kits for ~$550. That includes the slide and Romeo. The only downside for some is 9mm only.

Good thinking. I may have to look into that.
Just glancing around, I don't see any for sale.
Will have to look some more this evening...

The problem is Sig does these in batches and releases every couple months. I back ordered and got mine in like ~3 months. Having one now, I personally think this is the better way as you’d have both slides. The Romeo is nice for the range but I doubt I’d pickup if SHTF.
