I'm looking forward to a range report.

I've got medium hands and switched to the aluminum low profile grips and the change was unbelievable. It's one of my favorite guns to shoot now.

    A 1911 in 226 clothing :)

So, I am thinking that the the safety, while in the down position(off and shooting) would help eliminate (people like me) from riding the slide lock(release) on lock back(empty mag).

    ( a lot of parentheses ) :)

Very nice. I got the regular legion 226 and enjoy it quite a bit. I wish there had been an option at the time for Sao when I "had" to have it.

How's the trigger compared to a (good) 1911?

Using a trigger pull scale my SIG 1911 Tacops breaks around 4 lb. The Legion is 5 lb.
Not sure if its the flat face trigger but the Legion is a smoother pull for me. Bruce Gray did a great job with the Legion.
