Joe and Mark at 2A Sales made me an offer I couldn't refuse on a Sig 522 SWAT with a Vortex SPARC red dot scope. I've got some time built into my schedule tomorrow to go play at the range. :D

Got the 522 out to the range today. Mark had installed the SPARC for me so it was n the paper when I ran the first rounds through it. At 50 yards benched it grouped 7/8 inch. Two clicks down elevation and 3 clicks left moved it to point of aim point of impact at 50 yards. Unfortunately I'm not able to hold that well without it being benched. The trigger pull is a little long but it's something that I easily used to. All in all I'm very pleased with the rifle. It's fun to shoot and the ammo is a lot cheaper than 5.56 for the LWRC.

I took mine out today and ran 50 rounds through it....well my kids did.

Had one FTE with Remington Viper ammo, but I'm not worried.

I had a cheap $30 BSA red dot on it just so I had SOME kind of sights on it......seems that some guy named "Jerry" got the last SPARC from 2A so I had to order one.......:lol2:

I have the Sig 522. The thing eats any 22lr ammo. Once I zero'd in the Vortex red dot, the 522 was very accurate at 50 yards. Great crisp trigger. Too much fun to shoot. You have to get one.

Mind if I ask how much they go for?

Mine was $524.09 out the door with extra 15 rnd mag, MD tax and MSP tax included in that price. Go to 2A to get it.

Here are my vids of my 522. Subscribe to my Youtube channel for more to come.

I just remembered something about the gun after watching Janoss' video.

The gun was incredibly quiet compared to many other 22 rifles I've shot.

Not suppressed quiet of course, but much better than my 10/22, Marlin 989 and and of my bolt or lever 22's.

You should hear how quiet they are with a can hanging off the end. :)
