I'm looking to Load some 7.62x54Rs using the Sierra .311 174gr BTHP Match King. In need of Data for backing them with either IMR4895 or IMR4064. COL also!

Found this using Google; he's using different powders but mentions COL of 3"

I use the same bullet as 2 ranger does for the Enfields, .311" diameter, 174 grain Sierra MK HPBT.

50 grains Accurate Arms 4350 or 44.5 grains Varget

Laupa brass

Winchester LR primers

OAL = 3", with a slight crimp

Works great in most Mosins. Always slug barrel before sizing bullet, as some Finnish Mosins have smaller diameter bores."

Lambo, how did these bullets work out for you? Were they as accurate as the .308 MatchKings are reputed to be?
