Very nice. I particularly like the grain of that stock.

Rockzilla has a a red pad .458 with a pretty butt, too. I lucked across this “maybe” fired No.1 on GB of all places. Sitting dormant with no bid, tossed one on and found out some days later I was the new owner! Great rifle.

It’s a tough choice as I shoot my ARs the most. However,I would have to go with these two:

This is a tough one. I have a hand full I really like. But for now lets just go with my CZ457 Varmint. I have 2 barrels for it. 17hmr and 22lr.

Built this AR several years ago.
Engage stripped lower and upper.
Bought the rail and had them paint it to match.
WOA SPR barrel.
One of my most accurate rifles.

That's like asking which is my favorite child. My best looking rifle is my Uberti Iron Framed Henry I got for a deal a while back. Case colored frame, beautiful blued barrel, nice wood, and shoots 44-40. If I ever get back into cowboy shooting, I'll be taking her out again. Right now, it's too much of a pain to shoot since I only have blackpowder rounds and cleaning is a ridiculous chore.

I don't have just one "favorite"...but theses would most qualify even if I shoot my ARs more often.

Remington 788 in .223. It's a tack driver even with white box 55 grain...

Late 1950s Coltsman in .300 H&H Magnum. Between scopes right now...it had a contemporary Coltmaster 4x scope which shot great but I plan on putting a 3-9x on it.

Don't really have a fav ..one.. all my bolt, Ruger No. 1's, SA NM Garand are more or less.. Do have one I plan on taking out, got to throw some glass on it. R.M. Poole built it, Remington 700 SA, .308 Winchester, 24" Hart SS barrel, McMillian stock ( me thinks ) , wrinkle green finish, not a round shot in it all these years. Bought Federal Nickel Match brass and everything..but no shoot

Here's a crude pic of one of My No.1's, Tropical 458 WM, Will give Ruger credit back in those days the wood / grain on their Tropical No.1's sure were nice.

Have to agree with you on the 788, have one in 223 also with an ole Redfield 3x9, its accurate with 50gr, 52gr HPBT bullets, shot a many ground hogs with 50gr Blitz bullets, plus it was / still is my test rifle for swaged 22 caliber bullets made from 22LR cases.

Here comes Rock with that booty shot I mentioned! This thing is 3D in person. Cell phones can only show so much sometimes!

That Poole .308 needs to be shot btw. Arken has shown some real promise on that EP5 of mine. Have to get you out to try it on my Tikka. Best part? It doesn’t cost all the monies.
