In honor of opening day of deer season 2014-15, I wanted to see the results from everyone's previous season. Show wall mounts, hero poses, vid clips, etc. Only rule is, it has to have at least one antler and be deceased. I was hoping to have mine back from the taxidermist by now but....
So show us what you got.

Ain't that a one buck per season state? :innocent0

You can buy another buck stamp before season, but you can't harvest the second buck on the same day as the first buck.
The buck on the right in the picture was killed by my brother about 5 minutes before mine about 250 yards from where I was.

Ok, here are some furry friends (my 4 allowed bucks) from my tiny parcel of woods out back last season. First year hunting out back, just moved. This year I am going to be more picky, no more small bucks. Last season though, I was not sure what was out there and blasted anything with antler for the most part. No more. Only good rack bucks going forward now that I know that we have lots of bucks and even a few big ones:

Got these a few years ago in AZ:
    fmr5.jpg

    (Winchester model 70-featherweight in .270 w/a 3X9 Burris Scope)
The one of the left was killed about 350 yards (my hunting buddy had a range-finder but I forgot the actual distance).
The other one was killed at 40-50 yards; I was walking up a trail (by myself) and spotted him standing there with a
spike buck. I shot this guy (had only one tag) could've shot the other one - almost walked right up to him.
I tried to make him smarter-I threw a stick at him. Don't know if he survived the season, prob not.

These deer aren't very big (a large one goes around 110lbs) but given the country they live you earn these!
