I just sold this shotgun (reason for the photos), I just don't shoot 12 gauge anymore. That said, I have the same gun in a 28ga/.410/30" combo and it is a favorite. Shotguns made by AKUS (SKB & Dickinson) offer next-gen Turkish quality at reasonable price.

Thanks for the reply! They sure are a handsome shotgun!

Sorry to bore you but let me tell you a little story...

When I was a kid, Junior High age, the Dungeons and Dragons game was all the rage. Being raised in a Christian family, D&D was not allowed. Evil monsters, witches, and magic using was frowned upon. My brother and I were forced to look elsewhere. We landed on a roleplaying game (similar mechanics to D&D) called Star Frontiers. This game was based on space and the future. Instead of swords and magic, it had guns and spaceships. It scratched the itch. In the game you had all kinds of equipment as well as energy and projectile weapons. Once my brother and I got the feel of the game, we often created our own content and equipment. The one caveat was that we both had to agree with any newly created "thing" in order for it to be used in the game.

I came up with an idea and thought it would be cool if we could have a double barrel pump action shotgun. Basically, two pump action shot guns attached side by side into a single firearm.

My brother said that there is no way that anything like that would ever work and he absolutely forbade it's use in the game. Period!

Well, someone has actually gone and done it!

So, out of good-hearted spite, the fulfillment of a childhood dream, and one of the most gloriously ridiculous firearms I have ever owned, I present to you the:

    Standard Manufacturing DP-12.

I played Star Frontiers too. Loved the space battles and space map. Also loved the city map. Cannot remember what the name of the evil "lizard like" race was, but I believe it started with an "S". I also played D&D too and bought/read a ton of D&D books. We are Catholic. lol

    That's pretty...
    Thank ya

Mossies usually have a fore end slop problem, but surprisingly this one doesnt

Was a VA dealer that sold it to me too which was another pleasant surprise. Was nervous cuz I didnt want nuthin to queer the deal. But I’d certainly do business with him again

Had to fill out the VA state form after the 4473. That was a first

I'm assuming that's the 590A1 retrograde. I've never seen one in person.

You're most probably most likely going to love shooting that. It's a fantastic shotty. I really like mine. Emptied a "few" boxes of buckshot shells through it last weekend while helping the BIL get some inaugural shots through his 940 Pro Tactical . :toothless

Damn it, you just reminded me - I meant to look for a bayonet while at the show earlier today.

Sleep well, it likely will offend most fudds, particularly if the bayonet is installed.

Thanks man. I looked for that specific gun for several years and randomly found it a handful of years ago at Ricks up in Conowingo. Unfired and a real tank. My brother works at fin feather and fur in Ohio and found me the M4 after a long search. I’m still on the hunt for an OEM adjustable stock for it.
