I don't understand how that equates to a project, other than the aftermarket pad I don't see any issues, and the pad doesn't really hurt it as a pretty shooter.

I suggest you move that red dot forward or you may have a pirate's eye after shooting that.

Nope, just a plain Jane express. I've since swapped the forend for a police model though, so it's esthetically similar to the Police.

I planned to replace the 28" barrel with a 32" barrel and dump the Graco adjustable recoil reducer in favor of a Pachmayr Decelerator. Not a huge project but time, effort and expense for an end product I decided I didn't really want or need.
