Here is the 590 I bought from a member here. He put the stock on it I add the enhanced safety, wolffe mag spring, brownells follower, magpul forend and shell carrier (it is not the one that replaces the pins I used scotch "velcro", the stuff that used to come with EZ pass)

Nice. Looks extremely similar to the Weatherby shotties, also made in Turkey

Thanks. I think most of the Turkish shotties are coming from Khan and Kral these days. Kral seems to be the better of the two where QC is concerned. Walmart up in Mt. Airy has some of the Tristar O/Us for obscenely low prices. If you know how to do any action work, they could be decent guns with a little elbow grease, but as they stand, they're stiffer than a shot of barrel-proof bourbon on the action.

New LE trade wingmaster. South Carroll Sporting Good will have a bunch of these at the HoCo show

Forgot that the Howard County show is this weekend. My 8 year old and 5 year old have been bugging me to take them the next time it is around here.

Granted, not interested in a Remington 870 one bit. It was a deer gun for one of my buddies, and he asked me to sight it in for him one day. The recoil from that thing about knocked all the fillings out of my teeth. I had opened the door on my car and was using it as a shotgun rest, and the shotgun came back so hard that the forearm left a dent in the door. I gave it back to him and said, "looks like it is spot on."

so, they say the French imitate nobody and nobody imitates the French. Gun 1 is a Darne sliding breech in 16 gauge. Instead of the barrels dropping like a normal double, the breech slides back. Its actually much stronger and a great idea.
The 2nd gun is a Manufrance Ideal in 12 gauge. It has a retractable sling in the stock, and instead of a top lever, the trigger looking projection behind the trigger guard opens the gun.

Those photos are awesome with the old guns, ammo, decoys, cabinets, etc. Just awesome. Something that I would see in an old Field & Stream magazine over at my dad's place.

That thar be factory Remington! They marked these as law enforcement only for extra coolness.

    How about that, Diane Feinstein!!

I installed factory rear ghost ring sights on my 590A1 SBS. Stupid expensive for what they are, but they do look cool and are great sights. The breacher barrel came to me with the front ghost ring installed.

Nice setup Alpha, what brand barrel is that??

I think factory Mossberg. It came off a police 590a1 with pistol grip. I was afraid to buy both the barrel and receiver due to the NFA laws, so I just got the barrel. The receiver went for a little over $100 with rear ghost ring and side saddle and all internals.

    Classic Doubles 201, 20 gauge, 26" barrels.

When Winchester shut down their Japanese production line, Classic Doubles bought the machinery and for a few years built excellent quality O/U's and SxS's. Their only drawback is their relatively short barrels and heavy weight.
