Agree that a folded Kel-Tec Sub2000 is an excellent car carry option. They're incredibly compact and under 5 lbs. Mine is also within arm's reach.

For Maryland, I BELIEVE that there is no requirement for it to be in an enclosed case. It just has to not be loaded.

Both

The key to PA, make sure to have a PA LTCF or other recognized carry permit. Otherwise, the long gun needs to be unloaded in the trunk, ammo stored seperately.
