Looking at buying a shot timer for practice. Any suggestions on which one to buy or to stay away from? Will be used for rifle and pistol. No suppressors.

Ced7000. I have a few of them and they are solid. I like the size (small), adjustability, and features. It easily fits in an hsgi taco rifle mag pouch if you are working alone.

If sooner is a virtue, the Pocket Pro 2 or Pro Timer BT is pretty much what you're looking for.

If you can wait, the AMG Lab Commander is really good. The new Kestrel also has a good rep (but PS integration isn't done yet).

    I use the blue one.

The pact timer button is in the wrong place for me, as an RO.

Competition electronics pocket pro II. I've used every timer available at some point and these are my preference. Currently own three for matches. Good battery life, backlit display, multiple modes, easy shot count review, adjustable sensitivity and most importantly they're designed correctly with the start button in the right place.
