I was surprised at the difference between the .338 and the .50. Man, that's a nasty cartridge.

good choice had a chance to buy the .300 but the dealer had the .338 priced cheaper, priced wrong... oh well his lose my gain, if I was going to upgrade would probably be the .50 AI.

That was impressive. The 7.62x39 round made the barrel jump 6 inches. Even the 7.62x51 round didn't have that effect. Energy transfer of the round as it impacts the water? And the difference in exit hole from the .338 was something. Thanks for sharing!
