    We have seen many biometric safes, this is the first biometric trigger lock i recall seeing. Seems like if you are going this route, you might as well just use a biometric safe and be done with it. Maybe this will be cheaper? If you dislike biometric safes due to reliability, batteries, etc., I don't think you would like this any better.

    I do not like the biometrics on my laptop. I do a lot of work with my hands and sometimes even a simple scratch or scrape requires me to manually log in. Eff that.

    The one on my laptop works most the time but not always. However, the one I have is a different scanner type. It is the kind where you have to drag your finger across a narrow window. I believe those are inherently less accurate than the kind that read the entire print at once.

    The fact that they use the Brady Campaign's quote as a marketing ploy is enough for me to not buy it.
