Senator Nancy Jacobs (R-34) Senate Judiciary will not seek re-election

Sad to see Nancy go, as she was such a staunch supporter and worked tirelessly for our rights. Was she redistricted out of a job so to speak?

I don't think it was re-districting, but seriously, as an outspoken member of the minority, it has to take a toll you you after a while. The Dems can skate through their careers in Maryland politics, but the Republicans have to WORK. And, like I said in a previous post, Mike Miller has been after her for years.

I can't blame her.


Isn't it a bit hypocritical that we want term limits for the politicians we DON'T like, but we want our favorites to continue in office. Just Human nature, I guess.

Glad I took the time to personally thank her for her tenacity in defending 2A this past session. She is a class act and will be sorely missed.
