Picked up my new Security 380 this afternoon, and was just going over it before taking it to the range tomorrow.

I'm not sure how I missed this in the store, but the front sight is way off center. This doesn't seem normal, but this is my first small handgun.

Should I take it back to the shop, or just call Ruger? Or any other suggestions?

Such a minimal issue out to 15 yards. And not an issue past that because a perfect sight at those distances with that small gun won't give the perfect groupings you think you'd get.

Looks like the tip of the sight is directly center above the barrel. The dovetail doesn't matter.
