The State has no jurisdiction over private property rights therefore they cannot tell a homeowner that something that is otherwise legal isn’t allowed in their house. They have overstepped as usual

That's not what's going on here with SB-1 and private homes .

It's not banning carry in private homes . It's changing the default to ( non residents ) are not authorized . until residents gives permission .

May well fall in the main trial , but it's not the slam dunk on its face as open to public property .

Where have you seen that carry in National Parks in MD was legal? Everything I've seen stated it was illegal to carry in any State or National Park in MD, unless it's a WMA.
It's the other way around, what authoritative source have you seen that says it's illegal? Sensitive places are proscriptive lists rather than the places we can carry being prescriptive.

The regulation that makes it illegal to carry in state parks (similar exist for state forests and Chesapeake Forest lands):

    B. Except as provided in Regulation .03 of this chapter and in C and D of this regulation, an individual other than a law enforcement officer may not possess a weapon in a State park. The Service may approve an exception for an archery range, firearms range, or an exhibition

MD State Police list of off limit areas:

    8. On Chesapeake Forest Lands (except for hunting and target shooting as permitted) (COMAR 08.01.07.14)

    9. In State Forests (except for hunting and target shooting as permitted) (COMAR 08.07.01.04)

    10. In State Parks (except for hunting and target shooting as permitted) (COMAR 08.07.06.04)

Technically there are no National Parks in Maryland. However there are 23 National Park Service sites (like Assateague National Seashore, Antietam National Battlefield Appalachian Trail, etc) and the Gladys Noon Spellman Parkway.

Yes sir this seems to be a new way of making a gun law. You are ok in your own home. But go on anyone else's property with a home you must have permission. Hits on more then just the second amendment. I hope this get overturned. It will be interesting to see how the court decides this. Also I wonder how many other things will be affected buy a win on this point.

If you are out and about on these properties, aren't you always coyote hunting? No law on what weapon can or cannot be used for them.

    Sort of .

Undeveloped areas of State Forests generally offer the full smorgasbord of hunting seasons and methods .

State Parks , that do have portions open to hunting , are more likely to have further limitations as to species , seasons , and methods

Ie , only for specific game ( typically excluding groundhog , and other year round - ish critters . And plenty are archery only , or greater opportunities for archery .

In S. F. , game and hunting opportunities are a co equal primary priority . In S. P. , hunting is a secondary activity , to not interfere with their historical , cultural , and ( general public ) recreational missions .
