They don’t even come out against it, they only point out that it will apply to LEOs and those who got their permits with a G&S reason.
    Fvck the MSP.

I believe they also reference that it is not fair to those with G&S. The woman who has a stalker will be disarmed practically everywhere

None of this shizzat will fly with the courts.

    Yeah, I noticed that too.

They only resent their power taken away from them.

No better than the whiny, childish spazz’s in the MGA.

Don’t forget those who provided G&S to protect their places of worship. Like synagogues.

Once again the Nazis in Annapolis attempt to disarm Jews.

    Never again.

    MSP letter
Hilarious. According to the letter, it seems that the MSP's biggest gripe about SB1 is that their officers would not be exempt when off duty, in or out of uniform. Fvck the citizens and the constitution, it's just about protecting themselves.

Yeah, they gave a little lip service to those with G&S permits. Big whoop.

The mention of the G&S is the worst part, that case is over, no special treatment or requirement for permits. It doesnt make them any better than someone who got theirs last week with a proper constitutional no good reason required.

You should be grateful the MSP or other LE Agency you pay dearly for, is willing to sacrifice their lives calling for back up while a madman is inside murdering your parishioners.

    Now put down that sign.

    You disgust me.

    Sincerely,

    Howdy Doody.

That's what I take it as, taking up for the G&S carriers and not a "cut out for LEO's", but we know how people HATE LEO's who can carry when and where permits can't. Not that there are many, but that should be the least of peoples' worry.

Why everyone gets so upset ? When this passes it will have the usual carveouts and exemptions copied and pasted word for word from SB-281..

I think its reasonable for people to hate equal rights being unequal.

The whole gist of this reads like the old racist position “since schools have to be integrated now, we will just close all schools.”

That actually happened in places. These things take time.

Your not supprised, this is just like any city police department. Politics of the ruling party must be embraced. As a former Law Enforcement individual, it happens in Federal Agencies as well. Personally, I think any responsible person should be able to carry a firearm.

Good observation. It has been discussed here before how they are resisting this like Brown v Board of Ed

My park ranger spouse read me the DNR's position paper on SB1 this evening (Yes, they have an opinion)
The DNR actually came out much more strongly in opposition of the bill than the MSP!

The summary of the DNR position is that this could ensnare legal hunters engaging in lawful recreation activities. There was a little more to it than that. I'll have to get the rest from her.
