    It looks like the penalty for all these areas isn’t even “disqualifying” as a first offender. 3 month max sentence misdemeanor.

    They live in low crimes areas and have security. Of course they're safe
    They don't have any security assigned to them. Only the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of a security detail, and I believe, only when they are in Annapolis, and not full time.
