    Nope,,
I used to go down and bang on Mike Millers door back in the days of Vinny DeMarco,,
I make it most years to testify,,, some years work gets in the way. but for the life of me,, after I testify and get back to working and paying taxes,, I loose track of what the hell all the jargon is.
WTF can not they just label it as "Full vote in senate" instead of 3rd reading.

Wes Moore- A veteran who took an oath to support and defend the US Constitution, yet obviously doesn't believe in it.
He believes in nothing but whatever he must at that time

They're grooming him to be Obama 2.0. Notice how little he's in the news cycle compared to Hogan?

But if garywent ever wonders if there was anything else he could have done, that's one more thing he can check off his list.
Well, I assume that the sooner he disabuses himself of the notion that Dem politicians care what he thinks, the better.

Now if he dropped a note to the Easter Bunny, he'd have a better chance at a happy resolution.

All we have left in MD is sending money to litigators. A supermajority of some of the most abusive far-left ideologues, in a state whose population cries out to be held and nurtured in the bosom of Nanny Government, has no use for an informed, as opposed to an indoctrinated, voting body.

I realize I'm wasting my time but I emailed the Governor anyway, maybe if he gets buried in mail he will balk at signing SB-1. Here's what I sent.

Please do not sign SB-1, as a Army veteran and permit holder I assure you that the rights and the needs of law abiding Maryland citizens to protect themselves should not be restricted any further than they already are. We don't commit crimes, we are not the problem. Please support your good citizens and protect our rights. Thank you.

I started this string and I need to make sure to say two things to the 2A community.

First, don't be discouraged, we are actually winning (see below!)

Second, THANK YOU to everyone that called and wrote the Delegates and Senators of our esteemed Maryland General Assembly in response to SB-1 & HB-924. Over the last several weeks I personally heard more than a few legislative staffers say that these two bills resulted in an inordinately high volume of calls and emails to legislators. Each of these people said that most of the calls and emails were from people speaking out against these proposals.

Last week we also learned that public testimony was at least 5.375 unfavorable : 1 favorable. And this does not factor in the numbers of people that testified favorable but did so in protest. Those are stark numbers.

And, from this report we learned that about 40-50% of all wear and carry permit applications and holders are from minority communities. This report indicates 62% "white" applicants, but it hides the fact that there are two descriptors for Hispanics, including "non-white" and "white Hispanics."

And we learned from the Office of the Public Defender that they too believe these bills are racist garbage. They said it in public testimony on the record, and they said it when we talked with them in Annapolis last night. Quoting from their testimony, they said:

“Pretty much every person being charged with a non- use gun crime is black. And if they are not black, they are Latino.”

"While we know that this law will disproportionately impact black and Latinx communities in terms of who will be charged and prosecuted for these crimes, we also understand that Senate Bill 0001 will only create an increase in the number of people who will be exposed to having criminal charges brought against them."

Through this whole exercise we learned that 2A advocates have serious critical mass that includes all colors, shapes, sizes and creeds. Now is the time to press the 2A advantage. We need to make sure to continue to communicate about the racist nature of these bills, and to do all we can to make sure that the soon-to-be 500,000 wear and carry permit holders vote to hold the rights-suppressing legislators accountable in our elections.

This is just beginning. We know it, and the legislators know it. I saw it on their faces and heard it in their silence as they walked past the picket last night in Annapolis. They were silent when reminded that these laws are racist. The legislators know they overstepped. They know they passed Jim Crow laws, and they are just now starting to figure out that they will suffer in the polls because of it.

So, it's important to say THANK YOU to those that wrote and called the legislators. Thanks for standing up for human, civil and Constitutional rights! YOU did well, and you did rightly. I appreciate it, and so does every person at risk of becoming another violent crime statistic. Please keep up your advocacy. Don't give up, the tides are actually turning in favor of restored civil rights.

    THANK YOU

This is true. Staff is pretty much just a worker. Getting a lot of emails does take time for them read. They can’t just trash them because an email that is a subject that their particular representative might be amongst the ones we would write. Phone calls take time as well. Apparently the staffs took notice. And thats a good thing. Thanks to everyone that took the time to email, call or contact representatives as they saw fit. They noticed.
