A friend of mine has expressed interest in buying one of my firearms. It's non-regulated and as I rarely ever get out to shoot it I'd like to sell it to him. I've seen varying responses on what would actually be required for me to do this. Being a private sale is my understanding I can sell it to him face to face, with cash, and no paperwork other than maybe a bill of sale to cover myself correct, or is there something I'm missing/law that changed between 2017-2018?

While it's not a requirement, it's a good idea to protect yourself by getting a copy of his driver license and a signed statement that he is not a prohibited person.
