SA stainless MilSpec

It's sorta funny how one can come around to liking a particular style of handgun again. A buddy of mine picked up an airsoft pistol with a metal slide styled after the 1911 - one of those "cheap" sub-$30 ones. I fondled it a little bit and remembered how awesome a 1911 feels in the hand - "it's a shooter's gun" is no joke. I had handled an authentic WW2 1911 few years ago and luv'd the slimness and overall feel of it. I tried to find the same "feel" in a modern production 1911 to no avail so I fell off the 1911 wagon.

This SA stainless MilSpec looks awfully nice, tho.

I have the GI and it is pretty and functional, though frankly between the sights and the quality of the mechanicals my RIA shoots better.
