I store mine with the optics on it. The mount lets you move it to the side. Hasn’t lost zero in all the range trips. The FPC does look a lot like the sub2k.

Making it fold sideways sure does make it thiccccc. Not sure I'm wild with where they stuck the charging handles either. It looks like a pretty uncomfortable cheekweld. I wish this had front charging like a foxtrot mike and just a folding stock. It wouldn't be much longer, but would likely be way more ergonomic. I wonder how this holds zero. Mounting an optic to the barreled portion should make consistent zero easier to achieve, but it would still need a pretty solid and durable lockup to the receiver.

Like Keltec and a few of the new S&W, awesome innovative design, then they F-it up with some pointless "feature" or design flaw. In this case the fat bulky stock and random exposed bolts holding it together that look like crap. Although looks like a M4 buffer tube mount so other stocks might fit. Wonder if the stock was a last minute change and it originally was a shorter barrel with a brace.

It’s ugly but I like that you can grab this thing and have two extra magazines stuffed in the stock. Three 17 rounders gives you 50 rounds onboard a stowed gun.

I think it comes with a 17 rounder and two 23 rounders.

It may be practical, but I can't get over how ugly it is. I just don't like it. Yes, you can fold it with an optic, but it also take the less common S&W M&P mags over Glock mags. I wasn't really into pistol caliber carbines until ammo shortages happened and my kids really enjoyed shooting them, and I thought they were a hoot. I liked my Scorpion, really like the Rak 9, and the 995TS is an affordable little carbine with a lifetime, no worry warranty. If I want to conceal something, I'll just take a conventional pistol. I really like S&W M&P rifles, I have a couple, but this just doesn't light my fire.

I get that although, speaking for myself, “looks” only matter when it comes to women and doggies; vehicles and guns? As long as they do what I need em to do, when I need, I don’t give a hoot about looks, haha.

    I can’t get over the price …

I suspect that while I’m typing this, KelTec is selling more SUB2k’s via their $100 rebate - for $350 (-/+ $10) - than S&W is getting preorders - for $600 and up ... and that includes SUB2k’s that run on S&W M&P mags!

Wanted to bump this thread to see if anyone has procured one yet. If so, what are your first impressions? The Youtube videos are good and all . . . but hoping to hear some MDS'ers input. Thanks!
