So, as some of you may know, I have a Smith and Wesson 64-3. Late last night, during one of my sleep-deprived gun thoughts, it occurred to me I should get a S&W revolver in .357 to match. Specifically, a 6 inch one to go with my 4 inch 64.
Now, I'm not particularly well versed on the advantages of the 66 vs. the 686, nor do I have any idea about the differences between the different dashes.
I won't be buying this for another few months, but is there anything that I should be on the look out for? As much as I like the older Smiths, a 7-shot 686+ would be pretty cool.
Any particular models or variations that I should focus on? I'm not much of a collector, and I shoot everything that I own fairly regularly.
Gratuitous 64 photo below.
