I have a screw that is supposed to thread into mount for the bayonet, but the first few threads are boogered up. I would like to use a die to fix them, but I don't know the size. Anybody know? I guess I can always look for a new screw, but when I looked, they mostly said for spike bayonet. Mine is a blade.

    Thanks.

The screw should be the same. The spike bayonet seems to be more common. I just bought one for my Norinco on eBay NOS for about $50. In original packaging. Works great.

I noticed yesterday morning that the screw probably wasn't the original screw because it we a bit too long. So, I cut off the damaged part with a Dremel, cleaned it up and Voila! It fit worked out perfectly.
