Nice find! I really like those old single sixes. Too bad Ruger had to "fix" the non existent problem with them by putting in a transfer bar in the new single six.

Nice I really like the long barrel. I have the single six stainless .22mag 5 1/2 inh barrel. Fun to shoot. I think you got a great deal.

Here is my latest handgun purchase. It is a Ruger Single Six. I could not believe the condition of this gun when I saw it in the shop. The gun is unmolested and looks like new. It came with the original box and paper work. It was manufactured in 1971.

I could get OK accuracy from the 22 Magnum...but not he 22 LR... Sold mine, maybe I needed a big barrel

Accuracy does not seem to be an issue with this gun. I am sure the long barrel does make a difference.
