Anyone care to venture an educated guess on when the new Ruger Mk IV target pistol, .22 cal rimfire, will be approved for sale in MD? Thanks. bob
I actually had the opportunity to fondle the Mark IV Hunter @ JLowes this past Friday. Really nice compared to my MKIII Target with just a push of the button to disassemble! Not sure if any dealers have requested to have them added to the roster yet.
Have you seen the price on these things? $750 at my LGS. Pass for a price drop.

My LGS usually has pretty fair pricing too. I nearly choked when I saw the price tag.Good lord almighty
I'll deal with the takedown for the sane price of $300 on my mkIII
I'm not faulting them on the price. I'm faulting Ruger on this one. The guy at the shop thought they were overpriced too. Nobody is going to run out and buy one of these in lieu of their Mark 2 or 3. I think Ruger missed the boat on the pricing. It's not all your dealer's fault. Looks like MSRP is $769 on the Hunter model:

I guess they'll sell a few but that's a lot of coin.
The Buckmark Hunter is a lot less at $500.

I'd keep an eye out for used ones.

I think your LGS is price gouging!
JLowes has the MKIV Hunter listed for $540!

Hopefully we can get a confirmation on this from JLowe's. Not saying I don't believe the site, just wanna make sure it's not a typo. If that's verified, I'll be probably making my first JLowe's purchase
He had 4 of them when I was there. All available out of state until they are on the roster.
You meant to say "I'm about to buy the blued target version"Dang, one of my local shops has the blued Target version for $450.

Naw, fam, they have a cosmetically challenged Colt Police Positive there for $275.
Googled this and first result was

The Colt Police Positive is the Rodney Dangerfield of revolvers. It don’t get no respect.
