    Saw one there on Saturday, nice looking rifle.

    Only beef I have is the magazine, too bad they didnt make this thing to take M1A mags.

    It's Ruger even I wouldn't expect them to do anything else.

    Ya, its a fine rifle.......but you are right typical ruger. Dimensionally, that mag isnt much different. By switching followers they could have built a great range of calibers from .243 up to .338 Federal on the same platform.

    I'll post some pics and get a range report once all this dang ice lets up hehe.

    I think the mag is fine. If you read up on the design of the gun, they are trying to make it in the spirit of what Jeff Cooper would have wanted. The single-stack mag is a more straight-forward design and (so they say) will be less prone to jamming and feeding issues compared to a staggered mag.

    I already had a Leatherwood intermediate eye relief scope laying around so I just need to get it bore sighted and then I'll take it out and see what it can do.
