    The Ruger magazines usually work great. Sometimes you have feed issues (smiling little "fish-mouth" bullets, sticking bolt, stovepipes, etc.). Because the 10/22 has a fairly loose fit between the bolt and the receiver housing, this little bit of slop can create feed issues. I discovered a cool little fix that works like a charm. If your magazines have a line scored across the large flat area on the left-side the feed lip, check out the attached pic. :sign11:

    I have one BX-25. I fully loaded it the first time I used it the 10/22 failed to pick up a round every few shots. I loaded only ten in the next time and she worked fine. I had to load only ten in a few times to break her in...now she functions fine.

    This happened to me as well. First few were quirky then it ran like a champ.

    It is a great mag. Don't even bother with anything else.
