    But seriously -

It's a Blackhawk . If you are otherwise inclined to SA Revolvers , Blackhawks are very much a known quantity ( in a good way ) .

The only tricky thing about the .357/ 9mm Convertible is that the accuracy of the 9mm cylinder can vary , depending upon minor subtleties in chamber and throat dimensions .

For mine , the 9mm cylinder is less accurate than the .357 cylinder , but more accurate than 9mm semiauto pistols .

The bore will he slightly larger for the 9 as well. .357” groove diameter for the Magnum where a 9 is .355”.
That would limit potential. With good handloading select components, who knows.

You definitely want one. After that, you will want the larger frame version that can shoot .45 LC & .45 ACP.

I have the Vaquero convertible .357/9mm. I also feel I am a little more accurate with the .357 cylinder, but enjoyed shooting 9mm until ammo prices went crazy.

I bought one early last year with my stimulus money. It's a beautiful gun. I am very happy with the fit and finish, as well as, the accuracy of both the 357 and 9mm cylinders.

    How about a 10MM/38-40? or 10MM/40 s&w?

Did you ask for a 10mm/.40?

    That's actually a totally different beast .

The Blackhawk has two cylinders - One for proper .45 Colt , one with actual .45acp chamber .

The Redhawk has one cylinder , adapted to use .45acp also .

Ruger wouldn't sell that Redhawk if it didn't safely Go Bang , but the Blackhawk will have much better accuracy potential with proper chamber dimensions , and not having massive bullet jump to the throat .
