There milkshakes are the best for a fast food chain IMO. There ice cream period, its Hershey branded and mixed with milk n cream not a bag like I saw at the other place with the yellow/red clown.

They are also building one in Burtonsville MD at 29 & 198

Yes they are. Almost lost control of my motor vehicle when I saw the signs.

ETA: The La Plata store is 7.5 miles from my hunting grounds. Will the smell of a Gold Rush, fries and a cherry coke spook deer??

I used to always get the bacon cheese burger and or the fried chicken. When I got the chicken I would mix BBQ sauce and mayo. I know it sounds nasty but it's yummy. I always hit Roys in Fredneck when I am in the area.

The Frederick one's are kind of a downgrade to the Germantown ones. Just got it... A holster fries n bacon burger, large drink n brownie sundae was 11 even.

I remember there fries came in a holster holder and I would put it on my belt. Sad part was I was in my early 20 and i would wear it as i worked. Used it to hold my tools in and did it more then once. But damn I missed that place when they went away. Glad to hear they are making a come back.

Man I miss Roy Rogers. The one we had in Cambridge closed a long time ago. The last one I ate at was on the Jersey turnpike in a big truck stop

I've never heard the folks at the Frederick Roy's say that.

Back in the days when employee's HAD to say "thank You" that was part of their job. Howdy Partner! Probably went back to the late 70's early 80's I guess. Now if the customer says thank you they look at you like you're from Mars.
